Types of professional materials, upload process

Participation in the conference is open to registered individuals only.

Deadline for submission of presentation proposals and abstracts: February 2, 2026.

After completing the registration, it is possible to upload and submit professional materials through the website. The upload is successful if all of the designated authors are registered.

The upload process can be saved and continued later. After the upload is complete, the abstracts are submitted by clicking the “submit” button. Abstracts cannot be modified after submission. Please avoid duplicating abstracts. If you would like to delete an abstract that has already been submitted, please notify us at mpt@mpt.hu.

Please note that
– the length of the abstracts is always min. 1500-max. 3000 characters
– min. 1-max. 3 topics must be specified for submission
– min. 3-max. 5 keywords must be specified for submission.

A single author can be the primary presenter for only one presentation, one symposium, and one book review and serve as a discussant (opponent) in one session. 

  • Authors submitting symposia are requested to select a unified field designation for all abstracts within the symposium to facilitate evaluation. 
  • Please ensure that abstracts are free of typographical errors, as corrections will not be possible in the abstract volume. 


Opportunities for Individual Participation

  • Thematic Presentation: Presentation of new, unpublished empirical research findings or innovative theoretical approaches.

  • Symposium: Presentations organized around a specific topic, showcasing individual results from a larger empirical study or collaboratively developed new theories.
    Both the authors and the opponent must be registered participants.
    A minimum of three, a maximum of four presentations per symposium.
    The opponent and the president cannot be the same person.
    The opponent cannot be an author in the symposium.
    Discussants (opponents) should be from institutions other than that of the presenter(s).
    The symposium and its presentations can be uploaded by its chairman, both the authors and the opponent must be registered participants, and the chairman receives the evaluation.
    The symposium can be uploaded and submitted after the symposium presentations have been uploaded and submitted.
  • Poster Presentation: Overview of research results or problem areas within a specific field presented on poster boards. Authors can present their posters in a dedicated time slot with a 3-minute poster talk. A competition will evaluate both the poster and the presentation.
    The poster sessions will take place at the times indicated in the program. The authors of the posters are requested to bring the posters to the conference in printed form and to place them to the designated places no later than 10 minutes before the session. The organizers will provide the necessary equipment.
    Poster dimensions: B1, max. 70 cm wide and max. 100 cm long. We can display the posters in portrait format.
    The presenter must ensure that the posters are removed at the end of the break after the session.
  • Scientific Book Presentation: presentation of a professional book published between June 2025 and May 2026 in the form of a conversation with the author(s). When applying, please also provide the name of the professional who will conduct the conversation with the author(s). The duration of the conversation will be determined by the organizers depending on the number of applications. What do we ask for? a short summary of the volume (with the exact title, publisher and year of publication): min. 1500 max. 3000 characters, mandatory keywords, topic selection, list of authors, list of interlocutor.

The duration of presentations within traditional symposia and thematic sessions will be approximately 15 minutes on average, followed by a brief discussion. Symposium or thematic workshop moderators will facilitate active scientific exchanges during the sessions. Moderators must also be registered participants.

Due to the high number of participants, scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. We also note that if an individual is listed as a second or third author on additional presentations, we cannot guarantee that these will not overlap with their primary presentation time.
